Investment Casting Components
Investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting, is a manufacturing process used to create complex, detailed, and high-quality metal parts. In this process, a wax pattern of the part is created and then coated with a ceramic material to form a mold. The wax is melted and drained out, leaving behind a cavity in the shape of the desired part. Molten metal is then poured into the cavity, filling the mold. Once the metal has solidified, the ceramic mold is broken away, revealing the final metal casting. Investment casting offers high accuracy, intricate detailing, and the ability to cast a wide range of alloys, making it a popular choice for producing complex metal parts.
